About Cleve

Cleve is a Line Producer and Unit Production Manager for theatrical motion pictures and television movies, series and pilots.  In 2019 Cleve produced “Don’t Look Deeper” movie in 15 episodes for QUIBI. Cleve’s other recent work includes producing the ABC television pilot FALSE PROFITS and the TV series KINGDOM (Season 3).

He has worked across the United States and several countries. (see Locations) For the last decade, Cleve has worked primarily on TV pilots and series, including FlashForward (pilot and series), Perception (3 seasons), Mistresses (season 1), Training Day (pilot), Wicked City (pilot & series), Devious Maids (pilot), etc.  Prior to that, the majority of Cleve's work was in feature films and movies for television.

In 2010, Cleve received DGA’s Frank Capra Award in recognition of career achievement in movies and service to the Directors Guild of America. (see DGA article)

Cleve has always been a cutting-edge early adopter.  A member of the DGA VFX/Digital Committee for many years, he also participated on an industry Virtual Production Committee and a Previsualization Committee.  Cleve has an Emmy award for VFX and is a member of the Visual Effects Society.

Experience includes all facets of production and post-production as a producer, unit production manager, post-production supervisor, and more.  Career began in live television on the crew at KTLA, while a student at UCLA.  Cleve’s service at the Directors Guild of America includes 9 years as a National Board member and 6 years as chairman of the AD/UPM Council West (over 20 years as a council member). Cleve is currently serving on the DGA Contract Negotiations Committee for the ninth consecutive time.
